samuel: day one
WOW! Yesterday, Jane and I were blessed with the birth of our son Samuel. We went to the hospital at 9:30 AM, and by 11:25 AM, Samuel was born into the world. He weighed 8lbs and was in great health, very alive. We shed tears of joy, and the nervous energy quickly left us when we saw our baby boy emerge into the world. The pictures below are only the beginning, and for those of you that know me well, know that many photos and videos are to come. It is moments like these that you realize what life is all about, the joy of bringing new life into world, it suddenly gives you new purpose. I want all of you to know that Jane I love you, and appreciate knowing you, and we can’t wait for you to meet our son.
love,

Jane finally gets to hold her son, she had to wait over an hour after surgery to hold him.
His eyes opening up, we are into day two now, and his eyes are much clearer. More to come!
Samuel Sung Jae Hussey: Day 2 & 3
We finally made it home after 3 days in the hospital. Jane is recovering well and we are now adjusting to home life with Samuel. Kewpie and Adeline, our cat and dog are very interested in Samuel. We are all happy to be home, because home is home.
We must thank the nurses and Doctors, who helped us at Alta Bates, where we had Samuel. The food left something to be desired, but the staff was outstanding, and we thank you.
Below are more pics of Samuel.
